Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB or Bogor Agricultural University) is a state-run agricultural university based in the city of Bogor, Indonesia. The institute began as an agricultural school formed by the Dutch colonial regime in the early 20th century. After the Independence, it was part of Universitas Indonesia before becoming an independent institute on September 1, 1963.
