Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta is one of the State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia located in Depok Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. UPN "Veteran" was originally a higher education institution founded on the initiative of Indonesian independence fighters under the name "Veteran" National Development Academy (APN) which was established in the city of Yogyakarta, based on the Decree of the Minister of Veterans Affairs number: 139/Kpts/1965, 2nd October 1958.
