Founded in 1981, Universitas Gunadarma (Gunadarma University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Depok (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Gunadarma (UG) is a large (enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universitas Gunadarma (UG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 36 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
