Contribution of Self-Control and Social Skills on the Tendency Social Media Addiction

Social media is now familiar to users of the internet in the World. The tendency of teenagers now who was gathered with friends or family will be busy with social media without any communication in the circle. The behavior that individuals were caused by the difficulty of individuals controlling themselves in playing social media and the lack of individuals in social skills. The study aims to determine the contribution of self-control and social skills to the tendency of social media addiction, especially in high school students. This research uses the quantitative method with correlational descriptive. The sample in this research is 290 students using purposive sampling. The research instrument uses self-control instruments, social skills and social media addiction tendency using polytomy data with a Likert scale model. The results showed that there was a significant contribution between self-control and social skills to the tendency of social media addiction to students. The level of significance of self-control contributions and social skills to the tendency of social media addiction is at a moderate level.

The Influence of Agility, Speed and Coordination to Dribbling Ability of Soccer PS. UIR Pekanbaru

The problem in this study when athletes do dribbling is still not good, this is seen when athletes do dribbling, the ball often out of control when doing dribbling This type of research is quantitative with causal associative causal correlation approach to know the direct, indirect and simultaneous effect of agility (X1), velocity (X2), eye-foot coordination (X3) on dribbling ball (Y). . Data were collected using Dodging Run tests for agility, run 30 meters for speed, Soccer Volley Test-Modified for eye-toe coordination and Dribbling Ball for dribbling ability. The result of data analysis showed that normal path coefficient value, significant and linear, (1) There is significant direct influence Agility of Dribbling with big influence 12,89%. (2) There is a significant direct influence Speed to Dribbling ability with big influence 9,42%. (3) There is a significant direct influence of foot-eye coordination on Dribbling ability with a large influence of 11.22%. (4) There is indirect influence Agility on Dribbling ability through Eye-foot Coordination with big influence 22.18%. (5) There is indirect effect Speed to Dribbling ability through Eye-foot Coordination with big influence 24,40%. (6) There is simultaneous influence Agility, Speed and Eye-foot Coordination of Dribbling ability with a large influence of 71.75%.

This paper aims to describe the effect of motivation, leadership and comitment of the principal to the teacher performance at Junior High School. The research data was obtained by using questionnaire from 65 teachers. The results showed that (1) the teacher's performance was high, (2) The motivation of principal was high enough, (3) The leadership of the principal was enough, (4) The commitment of principal was high enough, (5) The motivation of principal had positive and significant effect to the teacher performance, (6) The leadership of principal had a positive and significant effect to the teacher performance, (7) The commitment of principal had positive and significant effect to the teacher performance, and (8) The motivation, leadership, and commitment of principal simultaneously influenced the teacher performance.

School institution services in human rights perspective

The purpose of this study is to analyze the services of school institutions in the perspective of Human Rights. Factors that affect the service are: (1) creating leadership that performs basic tasks and functions (Tupoksi) with human rights or ASN (State Civil Apparatus) that is not working professionally (Abuse of Power) or lack of human resources, (2) negligence or omission, Violation by Ommision, and (3) incorrect institutional policy factors violating the regulation (Violation by commmision) of public services by school institutions. The research method used a quantitative approach. Location of State Senior High School of Padang with 16 principals and 400 educators and educational staff as population and 46 samples who become respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that have been validated and processed through Path-Analysis techniques. The results of the study prove that all variables, namely two independent variables and one moderator variable studied showed significant relationship and influence on the dependent variable. Thus the hypothetical model that has been proven can be used as a model of the school institution service that has human rights perspective, can improve the performance of educators and education personnel on services provided by the school. The results of this study indicate that professional services, not neglect, and humane policies can be used as models of institutional services in the context of different school cultural values spatially, so have the reliability of the model. Besides, this model can also be used as a guideline for the implementation of basic tasks and functions of school institutions that have human rights in Indonesia.
