This article analyzes the pedagogical opportunities and existing challenges in implementing digital technologies in the education system. Digital technologies play an important role in individualizing the learning process, creating an interactive environment, developing students' independent learning skills, and improving teaching quality. Moreover, effective use of digital technologies contributes to the development of teachers' professional competencies, as well as the formation of creativity and critical thinking among students. However, challenges such as insufficient technical infrastructure, information security issues, and the low level of teachers' digital literacy are also highlighted. The author substantiates the need for methodical integration of digital technologies into the educational process and proposes recommendations for improving the quality of education.
