Penerapan Critical Review Artikel Pembelajaran IPA Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mahasiswa Dalam Menyusun Proposal Skripsi

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun proposal skripsi melalui penerapan critical review artikel ilmiah bersumber dari jurnal. Penelitian dirancang dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 63% proposal skripsi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian mendapatkan nilai diatas 80. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh dapat disimpulkan penerapan critical review atau kajian kritis terhadap artikel ilmiah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun proposal penelitian. Â The aims of this research is to improve students' ability in developing a proposal thesis by applying critical review of scientific articles come from journals. The research is designed by class action research. The results showed 63% of students thesis proposals on Research Methodology course scored above 80. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the application has been critical review or critical study of scientific articles can enhance students' ability in preparing research proposals.

Virtual Laboratory to Improve Students' Problem-Solving Skills on Electricity Concept

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the use of virtual labs on problem-solving ability of students to the concept of electricity. The subjects were students of physics education at Mataram University. Students were divided into two groups: experimental and control group. The research instrument used was in the form of problem-solving ability tests on electricity concept. The tests employed the form of essay that represent concepts about electricity being studied. The results showed the effect of the use of virtual labs on problem-solving ability of students to the concept of electricity. It can be seen from the different improvement of problem-solving ability in both groups. Problem-solving ability of experimental group is higher than the control group. From the analysis of these problem-solving steps, it can be seen that general students in both classes have the same ability to identify problems and define goals. In the next step, the different improvement in problem-solving skills in the two classes is significant. Experimental class' students have a higher ability to plan and implement problem-solving solutions than those of control class.

Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Kimia Siswa di Sman X Kota Tangerang Selatan

This study aims to determine the level of difficulty of learning chemistry students at SMAN X South Tangerang City. This research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative method. Sample was taken by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques obtained through questionnaire which was then analyzed descriptively. The results showed an average percentage score of 70.15 which fall into the medium category. While the average for each indicator identified causes learning difficulties students on chemical subjects including physiological factors (physical / sensory) 74.5% (high category), psychology 69.78% (medium category), social aspects 68% (Category medium), infrastructure 58.75% (medium category), a method of learning 77% (high class), and a teacher of 77.17% (high category).
